nailed with love || valentines nail art

Hello everyone!

 Here is another nail blog post for you.

Love month has officially started and Valentine's Day is near so I decided

that I want something Valentine-y on my nails :D

I don't think the darker pink looked anything close to a heart. 

They were supposed to be hearts outlined with white dots!

Sassy White Satin || Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat

It's not obvious in the pictures but actually, I combined Carolina Peach with White Satin so there are very slightly visible white streaks :) I tried my best to draw a heart shape at

the nail tips and then outlined it with small white dots.

This is my first time to do an actual nail art with dotting and drawing blah blah.

It's been a loooooong time.

 I bought this nail polish when I was on the "Red Nails" frenzy.

I have to admit, I bought it because of the name :D

It's darker in person. A deeper red. 

This is my first time to try cutting my nails square. 

And having them at medium length.

(Maybe not obvious in the pictures because of the angle)

We're almost through our thesis, but internship is up next.

I really can't feel my sembreak :(

 Can somebody give me tips on taking care of cuticles? 

I was cutting them before but I think it's not really advisable to do so.

Right now, I'm just pushing them back. 

But after a day or two, they are so visible again

I used my Caronia top coat for a change. I'm convinced, it's better than the Bobbie one. Prevents chipping better.

I opted for a professional-looking shade since tomorrow will be our pre-defense.
We had a big dilemma on our thesis yesterday. We had last minute changes on the proposal itself. So much stress.

Now I have a long night ahead. Must go back to work.

 I don't know why but I can't remember myself being too busy on any school-related work.
But I do feel that I've been pressing the snooze button way too many times lately.

I've been noticing that my nails chip faster when I use quick dry top coats

 

I wasn't actually supposed to buy this because I was opting for a regular green color. But my bestie acknowledged that it is a beautiful color. And yes, I gave in.

It is very sheer. I had to put two thick coats to achieve its bottle color.

Sadly cherie (camera), washed out the colors of this elegant nail polish It is a deeper, richer green in person. Are my adjectives right? XD

 My mom rushed me to do errands just after finishing them so they're currently full of bubbles and the tips are a mess. But I am still slightly obsessed with looking at them. It's been a while since I painted my nailies green!
